ANCIENT FARMHOUSE AT THE THERMAL BATHS of BAGNI SAN FILIPPO

This farm to be restored is located on the ancient road that linked the monastery of Abbadia San Salvatore to the thermal waters of Bagni San Filippo. The property is protected by a coniferous forest in the middle of which there is a lawn and some outbuildings. On the ground floor there is a big kitchen with a large hearth, like in the past when the large families were used to eat in front of the fireplace. A lounge, with another fireplace, even larger; a bathroom and a pantry compartment that can be converted into any other destination. On the first floor three large bedrooms and a lounge, divisible into two bedrooms and another bathroom. At ground floor near to main structure there is a warehouse / shed. In front of at the principal structure there is a renovated building, with terracotta floor and beams and bricks ceiling, that can be used as a depandance. Outside there is an old oven and various outbuildings, former chicken coops and animal shelters. The land is fenced and between the buildings there is a meadow, that in spring is studded with small daisies; in the Tibetan language, the name margherita means "life that is reborn"; and this is what awaits this farm! The structure was used as a well-established accommodation facility also thanks to its favorable position, close to the thermal waterfalls reachable through a path.
